It's Alive!

*ahem*

It's time to dust off this 'ole thing and get cranking on some content. I started this back in college a decade ago and lost the motivation to keep posting here, but I never stopped writing and I've always been drawn to the idea of having an active place to capture ideas.

I've flirted with Medium and have added a decent amount of longform posts on LinkedIn, but neither platform (nor any other one I'm aware of) allows me to draft and post exactly how I see fit.

Plus, I've now created an entirely new way to productively procrastinate by tinkering with the new details on this wildly customizable page. What could go wrong?

I considered starting fresh, especially because my views have evolved since I first started writing here. But I think there's value in consistency (it's unclear if a fourth post in 10 years can count as consistency, but that's what I'm choosing to go with). And since reflection is something I intend to talk about a fair amount here, it seems appropriate to use the abbreviated post history here as a point of reflection for future reflections.
