Hiya! My name’s Ryan, and I like to write, talk peoples’ ears off about productivity, and help veterans achieve their full potential. I blog at twobitrye.com, post semi-hinged things on Instragram, and try to post engaging, non-self congratulatory content on LinkedIn. You can view articles I write elsewhere and interviews I participate in here

I currently serve as the CEO at Warrior-Scholar Project, a national nonprofit focused on propelling enlisted veterans towards success in higher education and beyond. I love my job. Like, to an obnoxious degree.

I’ve had a winding career and education path, formally starting with a five-year enlistment in the Marine Corps. I then snagged a BA from University of Michigan, taught high school in Detroit with Teach For America (hardest job I’ve ever had), hoodwinked UVA Law into admitting me, and did a stint in corporate law.

Every experience in that last paragraph has played in a role in how I got my current gig and why I love it so much.

On this blog, I write about a practice I call Three-Dimensional Productivity, or 3DP. I am searching for ways to be productive in a holistic, fully human sense. I hope you'll join me.

I’m always open to feedback and ideas, so feel free to drop a line at ryan@twobitrye.com.
